Level 3. Advanced Practice. Part Four.

Since the trees are quite an essential element of my project, I work more on them. I tried the various shades of green inks and worked on my ink painting skills.

Here’s another variant of the tree in a different green. It’s also important for me to check how the dark purple shadows connect with various greens.

Here, I used soft pastels to create sunlight and skies around the tree.
I find this option more engaging because of the shade of green, foliage and yellowish interplay inside the green mass.

Comparing with earlier trees:

This variant is also good since it has a good sense of dynamism. I see that if I put the stem in a strong diagonal that creates an interesting tension
This variant was made in July for Part Three. I see now that I don’t like my technique—aquarelle sticks with water on top.

Since not all flowers and leaves came up to my expectations, below is the development of a new element:

A study of monstera plant leaf. I am satisfied with how brown inks work for the dry part.
