Painting Two. Part 4 and 5. Visit to MOMA and Whitney Museum
As my Tutor pointed out in his feedback on my assignments, I should catch up with some art exhibitions. I am not based in London, so I can’t visit any museums in the UK, but I used my chance to see two museums in NYC.
In June 2021 I was in New York City and took may chance to visit MOMA and the Whitney Museum. Below I out some artworks, which impressed me deeply, and/or they are in line with the course I have been doing so far, especially the Painting Two, Parts 3 and 4.

These two paintings above are legendary artworks created my Denyse Thomasos. they are very large, 108*216 inches. They are very powerful and strong. The artists used only 2 colours, creating a complex visual experience. When I saw them I thought they were created by a man, but I was surprised founding out that they were, actually, created by a female artist.
Below are some artworks, which are good examples of using unconventional materials in artwork making, as well as an unconventional approach in treating canvas.
