Below is my project of painting outside. I picked up a scenery, a view to the sea from the park. I have installed myself near the pond and included it into the picture. I used my large Sennelier aquarelle set, 2 brushes for ink painting to do the washes and 3 thin brushes for the details.

Firstly I sketched the parts of the sky and the sea, also I placed the pond with a pathway near it. Then I did the washes for the sky and the sea. After that I sketched the stems of 2 trees with the black colour. The ,most time consuming part was to create the green mass in the aping because it contained lot of details: some leaves were in the shadows and sone – under the sun light. All the greens contain several layers of different pigments: i started with different shades of green and added lot of black, white and yellow on top in places where I needed to create shadows and light.

I think the overall result is not bad but the path is not perfect. I actually regret that I did it, I should have change it for plants because the lines are not straight enough, I definitely must work on that topic in my technique. I like the trees and the pond.

I did it with Sennelier aquarelle set. My idea was to bring viewer’ attention to the beauty of the leave which is partially dry, not perfect but still amazing. I placed it to the front part of this landscape painting, close to viewer’s eyes.
