Today I have started to read my new course materials which I have received last week. I have  made some necessary amendments on my learning log to make it ready for my new posts  about  exercises and assignments in Painting 1 course.

I also have read the introduction to painting  part of my course materials which is devoted to different kinds of paints, mediums and diluents, oils and colours; it is about setting up the painting process, artist`s supply.

During my first course – Drawing 1 I have established my first practice of oil painting qnd practised some techniques in oil and acrylic paintings.

Here i post some photos of some of my drawing materials:

For oil paintings I use artist quality oil paints by Georgian and Daler Rowney; For acrylic I use artist quality paints by Senelier and quite affordable Seurat; for my ink drawings I use black sumo ink by Yasutomo and coloured inks by Winsor & Newton. For brush cleaning I use white spirit and eco brush cleaner by Schmincke.

I also use chalks  qnd coloured pencils by Derwent  and Carand’ache.
