Here are my sketches for Project 2/Exercise1/ Quick Studies. I picked up 3 models – 2 girls 7 and 5 years old while they have been playing at the playground and a man,  holding a baby.  Playground with large rocks and different objects was  useful for this exercise. To make  my drawing  of the man I places a large toy in front of him. All of them were kind to me and agreed to pose for 5-10 minutes.  I used my A4 size sketchbook pages. I tried to make  poses for them  which would be comfortable and  interesting for drawing. I used an HB pencil for the girls and an ink pen for a man. Drawing with an ink pen  makes you to be bold – you hand must be confident with lines, because you cant rub them off.

I watched more tutorials about figure drawing and I used basic rules such  starting with drawing  a very  general geometric figures such as circle or oval, rectangulars. I use measuring system  which is a referring to  surrounding objects to  check the proportions of the figure.
